Joe and his wife Joyce Wilkinson lived in Baldwinsville, NY. Joe had worked 40 years for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Syracuse, NY. When we first met it was a couple of years before he had retired. These photos were taken at his home around 1999 during a get together with the Mid-Atlantic Penny Bank Club. The colors and artistic designs really caught my eye. He was the first club member I can recall meeting who specialized in lithographed tin banks.  Joe passed away in 2018.  At that time he and Joyce had been together over 60 years.
